A couple of Leicester/Attenborough links for you.
The Picasso ceramics collection resides at New Walk museum:

The Richard Attenborough Centre for Disability and the Arts opened in the late 1990s, operating as a wing of adult or continuing education. Sadly, one has to question University of Leicester's commitment to continuing education, but the RAC carries on:

Richard Attenborough developed his art at Leicester's Little Theatre and later became a patron:

Frederick Attenborough (Dad) was principal of University College, Leicester and gave his name to the awkward tower building.at the university. The best story about the family's adoption of two Jewish refugees has disappeared behind the Sunday Times paywall but here is a snippet:

The Attenborough family home at University College became College House, home for continuing education which led to the RAC.
