It doesn't stand up to time. <br /><br />"The Man Who Fell to Earth" excited me when it was released because Barry Norman reckoned it was for my generation. I was too young to get into a cinema to see it.<br /><br />Punk rock culture took off a bit later when I was old enough to get into gigs. I watched "The Man Who Fell to Earth" on VHS -- and it was good enough that I watched twice.
