He's going on about physical geography and postcodes: 'Some streets have no issue at all and in other streets nearby you’ve got a major issue, and we needed to know that at the time so we could intervene with pinpoint accuracy.' (Guardian and elsewhere)<br /><br />My postcode covers 30 households of different ages, ethnicity, occupations and lifestyles. Conventional epidemiology regards these as significant factors. Industrial illness is understood by investigating where people work, where they shop or have a beer, where they socialise.
