MPs briefing against Kennedy
Andrew Neil’s forecast that Charles Kennedy will resign in the spring makes more sense when you read this article in today’s Guardian.
It is clear that a group of Lib Dem MPs are briefing against him, and it was this that Neil picked up on.
It really is getting very tedious now. This handful (if that) of would-be leaders and restless MPs jealous of the fun being had by the Tories should get a grip.
Perhaps it's panic, rather than jealousy? Alarmed at the Cameron media hoop-la and worried about their majorities. In which case, this could blow over when the honeymoon ends (soon, I hope).
