Earlier this evening I went to a book launch at Waterstone's in Market Harborough. It was for The Gates of Troy by Glyn Iliffe, who is a fellow member of Leicester Writers Club.
When I moved here in 1973 there wasn't even a branch of W.H. Smith's in the town. Now we host book launches.
