Draughton: A wayside discovery

A mile or two from Maidwell is Draughton, reached by an unfenced road that goes up quite a steep hill. When you get there you realise you are higher than the surrounding countryside because there are dry stone walls in the village.

Draughton consists of little more than a church and a few houses. So it is a surprise to find this sweet little clubroom next to the church.
