And he has not let UKIP down.
As the Leicester Mercury reports:
The UKIP candidate for the Leicester South by-election has caused outrage by condemning Islam on his blog. You can find the full article on Pandaya's blog, but here are a few choice excerpts:
In the article, Abhijit Pandya called Islam "morally flawed and degenerate" and said he backed a controversial Dutch politician, who called Islam a retarded ideology.
"Campaigning in Leicester recently, I have been shocked to discover the quanta of those from Islamic backgrounds on one form of a benefit or another."Pandaya, incidentally, is UKIP's "Head of Research". You get the impression that is not too onerous a position.
"Islamic culture inherently rejects the Western way of life, more specifically the Protestant work ethic, that has successfully built the economies of the West. The increase of Islam in the UK is going to be a problem for the welfare state."
"A removal of multi-culturalism and assimilation of these people needs to done to save them from the abyss of exclusion and welfare. Above all, one should not shy away of contemplating forced repatriation, or threatening it to further assimilation, as a result of their lack of economic contribution to the UK."
That blog is... something! Is it a joke? Or is he for real???
ReplyDeleteunfortunately it isn't a joke. this is clearly yet another ukip member who is using the party for their own bizarre vendetta. i mean come on, having an indian slag off muslims is about as surprising as having a pakistani slag off hindus. kashmere anybody?
ReplyDeleteclearly this ukip member fancies himself as something better than he is and is trying to jump on his own perceived 'anti muslim' angle that he thinks is in ukip. unfortunately for him it isn't.
Pandya appears unrepentant - have you seen his latest blog post comparing Mein Kampf with the Koran?

Mein Kampf says kill are non-Aryans(german), Koran says kill all non-believers.... for me both books sound similar
