Kibworth shop is the best independent bookseller in the Midlands and Wales

Congratulations to Debbie James and The Bookshop, Kibworth, for being named Independent Bookseller of the Year for the Midlands and Wales Region.

As The Bookseller says:

The newest shop among the regional winners is The Bookshop Kibworth, which owner Debbie James opened in November 2009, with the judges particularly praising its community focus. James called the regional win a “champagne moment”. 

She said: “It’s been an extraordinary two years. I have been lucky to have been supported by people from the community from the beginning, who were thrilled to finally have a bookshop in their town.”
