I started to think them same, does the clever editor recognise the free publicity is attracting people to her site? but then I remembered I have met the remaining reporters. One of them wrote about my case back in March it was full of mistakes so the paper resorted to employing a freelance who could write in shorthand. The Rutland Times relies heavily on press releases last weeks is had a article about the assistant council CEO retiring and the whole story including photo was cut and pasted from the council website. I predict the Rutland Times will go very soon, The Rutland Mercury is no more Rutland is now printed in small on the Stamford Mercury Header. The Johnston Press has killed the local news media. http://www.pressgazette.co.uk/johnston-press-creates-virtual-office-weekly-newspaper-journalists-and-ad-staff-all-working-remotely
