A flaw of the Liberal Democrats in Liverpool over the last fifteen years (including five of the ten years when I was active in Council matters) is to use the label Militant and to also label anyone who was a Militant (or some less damaging far left faction) even when they have changed and time has moved on. I'm sure Momentum does have some of the same people, and many newly invigorated Corbyn Labour supporters and activists are old hard left Labour activists but it is a useless label to use for the many genuine and under 35s who support Corbyn who are nothing to do with old far left gangs.
