Remarkably, it was written by Ross Parker, who had co-written the wartime standards "There'll Always Be an England" and "We'll Meet Again".
Maybe the 1950s were more exciting than we think?
The BT band label was puzzling. It is unlikely to have been Bruce Turner - perhaps Billy Ternent?
