First National Rally of Boats at Market Harborough, 1950
This uncredited photo was taken during the Inland Waterways Association's first National Rally of Boats at Market Harborough in 1950.
The boat in the foreground is Warwick, and it may well be Cairo behind. These were crewed by Sonia and George Smith. Sonia later married Tom Rolt, who was also at the Rally - just about!! Cairo and Warwick were used for trips along the canal during the Rally.
