Great news. Matthew is a great campaigner, just a tad prone to over-enthusiasm. As things get better he must rein in his tendency to attempt too much and over-commit personally.
Excellent news! I think the soon-to-be-enlarged Lib Dem group in the House of Commons is going to be helped by someone who has both a bit of experience as well as enthusiasm. I wish him well.
Unlike Stan I have a very very hazy notion of over-enthusiasm and I don't mind telling you I have lost count of the number of times I have wet myself with excitement about Matthew announcing his candidacy.
Quite frankly you'd have to have metal tits not to be aroused by the prospect of Matthew re-entering the House of Commons.
