Livestock markets and railways: A film of Craven Arms in 1952

Craven Arms, a 19-century Shropshire town named after an inn, was known for its livestock markets and its railways.

You can see both in a 1952 film of a sheep sale there. It's striking how little traffic there is on the road and that there were fields so close to the town centre.
