One good thing about this: the additional movement - "Pluto" - which someone composed to tack onto the end of Holst's "Planets" need no longer be played. I have nothing against it as a piece of music in itself, but as an ending I do not think anyone could improve on Holst's own "Neptune" with its female voices drifting away down the corridor still singing so that the listener does not know quite when the sound ceases
