What was the threat against Tesco?
The Times says that the nature of the threat against Tesco "remains a mystery".
Judging by events in Market Harborough, it must have been a bomb threat. You don't close roads if you are afraid someone may have tampered with a jar of pesto.
Would it necessarily have been a bomb threat? Given the hints in the media that there was a "financial motive" behind it all, I guessed that the threats were something along the lines of an armed robbery.
Mind you, if that was the plan, sending a letter about it to Tesco's head office probably gave the game away a bit too much.
