Thunderthighs: Central Park Arrest

I was sorry to read of the death of Lynsey de Paul this week. Her name reminds me of evenings listening to Radio Luxemburg with the radio under my pillow.

She was a songwriter as well as a performer, and wrote this song for Thunderthighs - Karen Friedman, Dari Lalou and Casey Synge.

They were the "coloured girls" from Lou Reed's Walk on the Wild Side and also sang with the Steve Winwood project Go and Mott the Hoople.
