York man banned from having sex unless he gives police 24 hours' notice
Not for the first time, The Press wins Headline of the Day.
Reminds me a show I saw years ago about the Hong Kong police. A western man had a problem with a lady (her "father" had come into the room with an axe)The Chinese policeman said why didn't you phone us before you went with the lady, "What, said the man, you expect me to phone you everytime I want a &**#!
From the linked page: "Full sexual risk orders last for a minimum of two years and breaching an order can lead to a prison sentence of up to five years. They are used when someone has not been convicted of a sexual offence, but the police convince a court it is necessary for one to be made against the person to protect the public from him or her."
I suppose one could take the view that such orders might be a serious cause for concern to liberals, rather than a source o
At least, that was the text I tried to submit through this buggy interface, before I had to fill in 3 "captchas" in succession, and copy and paste some code to prove to some robot that I was human. Somehow the Internet seems to be losing its charm these days.

rather than a source of amusement.

Almost all funny headlines are less funny if you look into the story beneath.
