Phil Ochs: Crucifixion
Phil Ochs, who died in 1976 aged only 35, is a forgotten figure of the counterculture of the Sixties.
Crucifixion, says Wikipedia, is about the way the public makes, breaks and deifies its heroes. Ochs wrote it in 1965 while touring Britain.
