Team of the Week
It's the "specialist fish rescue team" on hand as Foxton Locks are drained for maintenance.
"The flight was drained by opening each of the locks and allowing water to flow to the canal at the base of the 75ft high lock flight.
When the repairs are completed the lock flight will be filled back up again with water from the summit of the canal."
Bit of the bleedin' obvious, that.
Are all of our regional town and city newspapers now owned by the "this is (insert a locality here)" crowd with its "At the heart of all things local" boast?
