Dr Feelgood: She Does It Right
There is a happy parallel universe where music moved straight from sixties R&B to punk. In that universe, Dr Feelgood were the leading group of the early seventies.

Fantastic.
Hang on, last Xmas you were encouraging us to listen to 'Ring out solstice bells' by Jethro Tull, which would have had no place in your 'happy parallel universe'.
More to the point, there would be no Traffic either.
A universe without glamrock would be a happy one, but not the only possible happy one.
