This weekend will see the first passenger trains between Porthmadog and Caernarfon on the Welsh Highland Railway, reports the BBC North West Wales pages. The service will open to the public next spring.

Rachel's experience is the reason why I'm not an LD Member. I was, once, long time ago, just for a year - and there is Liberal activist history in my family going back well into the 19th century. While I was a Member, the bumph came on paper, through the letterbox. Ros Scott did say that she had created an opt out scheme, but I confess to not having looked for it.
