Steve Winwood and Carlos Santana: Why Can't We Live Together
Here is this blog's hero playing with Carlos Santana and his band at the 2004 Montreux Jazz Festival. 'Why Can't We Live Together' was originally recorded by Timmy Thomas in 1973.
I am impressed that the Mexican-American guitar virtuoso joins the percussionists at the start. I am even more impressed that he can conjure a wicked Latin rhythm out of what appears to be a giant sausage.
