The disused Severn Valley Railway: Shrewsbury to Bridgnorth 1

Ever since the Severn Valley Railway established itself as one of the country's major preserved railways, there has been talk of expanding it northwards into the Ironbridge Gorge.

This is the first of two videos which explores the remains of the line back from Shrewsbury towards Bridgnorth to see how realistic this scheme looks on the ground.

An excellent review of the line as it is today. How very shortsighted people were not to protect the track bed for the future
