Labour loves Ukip and the Tories in Barwell

Congratulations to Shani Smith for gaining a seat for the Liberal Democrats on Barwell parish council in Leicestershire.

I would not usually blog about a gain at parish level, but this extraordinary leaflet from the defeated Labour candidate deserves a wider readership.

One of the gentlemen pictured on it, Huw Williams, is a Conservative parish councillor.

Whether this respect for Ukip and the Tories will survive Corbynite revolution remains to be seen.
