King's Lynn to Hunstanton in 1968

John Betjeman travelled on this line in 1962.

This colour footage of it was shot six years later - a year before it closed.

Watched and enjoyed this. Very nostalgic: the cars and prams in particular. Sad to see the run-down nature of Hunstanton station - though they had clearly automated at least some level crossings before closure.

Was there no sound? The blurb said the 'director' had tape recording capability and there are 'interviews' with staff but my viewing was silent (and other videos on my machine have sound). A shame.
