Judges at the Court of Appeal in London were told that Robert Cecil Taylor was determined that his children would have a better start in life than him.
He had no formal education during his childhood in a Jamaican village and cannot read or write. To pay for their schooling, he sold cannabis to about 20 people in Melton Mowbray
