As well as East Langton, where J.W. "Paddy" Logan lived, on Saturday I visited Church Langton, where he is buried.
This photograph shows Logan's grave in the churchyard there. After taking it, I did a little weeding.
The grave in the background belongs to one of Logan's sons, who died in infancy.
Inside the church - scene of a famous performance of Handel's Messiah in 1759 - there are memorial tablets to Logan and his two other sons.
