Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle
I like provincial art galleries. They generally have a good cafe and unexpected treasures among their collection.
The Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle is no exception, with paintings by John Martin, Gaugin and Holman Hunt and a Grayson Perry pot.
