Giant rodent the size of a labrador is living wild in a Rutland village

The other day it was a panther between Teigh and Market Overton. Today it is a capybara at Empingham.

It's been a good week for exotic fauna in Rutland.

And congratulations to the Leicester Mercury on winning our Headline of the Day Award.

Having seen a a pair of deer on Aylestone meadows on a misty day when the coppices were being cut down...

There is an awful lot of wildlife which you don't see. Which you cannot see unless you are careful.
