The Naples of the North, if I recall correctly. Lots of pizza and organised crime - sounds about right! I love the way these posters sanitise and glamorise what even then, in many cases, were fairly ordinary places - Scarborough is lovely, but Redcar? and are now depressed UKIP-voting hellholes. And everyone is thin (white!) and beautifully dressed. True escapism!. I know these images are widely available on the net, but those wishing to own a more permanent record might do worse than pick up the books in this series:
