Progress report on the reopening of the Waverley Route
Well, not the whole of the line, but 36 miles or so from Edinburgh to Tweedbank.
But already there are demands for a futher reopening to Hawick. Who knows? It may one day make it all the way back to Carlisle.

Very good but let's bring back Market Harborough to Stamford/Perterborough next. And, while we're at it, the Uppingham branch too!

If it does reopen, can we make sure that David Steel gets to ride on the first train, as he rode on the last?
