Guido Fawkes defends Lib Dem tax plans against the Fabians

Apparently Left Foot Forward has published a paper attacking Lib Dem plans to lift millions out of paying income tax by raising the threshold. It is written by Tim Horton from the Fabian Society and Howard Reed from the IPPR.

Guido Fawkes, who provides all the links you need, takes them to task.

As Our Lord said, and I think rightly, "joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance".

I think you'll find that Mr. Fawkes thought of them on his very ownsome. He says- and I couldn't agree with him more- that he's never met a tax cut he doesn't like.
But then unlike the Fabians he doesn't want to control people- he offers the bargain that if people leave him alone he's more than happy to leave them alone.
How about the Liberal party returning to its roots and adopting the rest of Guido's policies? You might win then.
