Back in November I wrote about Churchill and the Anarchists, 1911 at the Museum of London Docklands. I have not yet been to this exhibition, which tells the story of the Siege of Sidney Street and the Houndsditch Murders, but as it runs until 10 April there is still time.
In the mean time, here is British Pathe's (silent) newsreel of the event, complete with troops, Churchill, an enormous crowd and the fire which finished the affair. As ever, click on the picture to view the newsreel on the British Pathe site.
Lord Bonkers adds: A little foreign fellow was painting the gutters on my Dower House, but never came back to finish the job. If you see him, tell him he will not get a penny from me until the work is completed.
