Writing for The New Yorker, Hendrik Hertzberg, an enthusiast for PR, hopes the Liberal Democrats will do well: "if the Mother of Parliaments were finally to rejuvenate herself, the change would rejuvenate throughout her offspring in the English-speaking world.
