Shrewsbury councillors have signed a motion demanding the sinking Dara Thai restaurant is removed before the summer to avoid jeopardising the town’s chances in this year’s Shrewsbury In Bloom contest.They mean the Britain in Bloom contest, by the way, and the restaurant is a derelict boat moored on the River Severn.
