The Long Man of Wilmington is a hill figure on Windover Hill near Wilmington in East Sussex.
Here Professor Martin Bell, President of the Sussex Archaeological Society, discusses with Chris Hare the possible origin and meaning of the Long Man. They also talk about the significance of the surrounding archaeological features, including long barrows and round barrows.
Something to visit next time there is a Liberal Democrat Conference in Eastbourne.
