James Fox is interviewed about his career in 1968

After his role in The Servant (1963), James Fox was in demand. This interview, filmed four years later, has the young star in affable mood, freely admitting his lack of planning, love of California and thoughts about his craft. 

It predates his role in Performance (1970), after which he suffered a nervous breakdown and withdrew from acting for eight years.

The film he starred in as a 12-year-old briefly mentioned at the beginning is The Magnet, a lesser Ealing comedy or a part of the Ealing Apocrypha, as I described once it in a post about the film.
