Very early 60s, because they ended in 1962. (As we all know, the sixties began in 1964). Why on earth did they get rid of these wonderful machines? Pedantic point: most of that "1960tastic music" is actually 1950s, or, in the case of Jack Strachey's "In the Mood", 1940s.
Thanks, I've just changed the heading to 1960. No doubt this music was around in 1960 (the year I was born).
