The North Devon Gazette quotes the chair of the Lib Dem constituency branch Trevor Johns:
“We are delighted to have selected Paula Dolphin as our candidate.
“She has a record of delivery in her area and will make an excellent MP for this area. We all look forward to campaigning with her.”The seat was held by the Liberal Democrats between 1995 (when Emma Nicholson changed parties) and 2005.
