Caroline Lucas: Do what I say, not what I do?

The Lincolnshire Echo suggests that Britain's most prominent Green politician may not be as green as she should be:

Green MEP Caroline Lucas arrived in Lincoln for Question Time last week by car after missing her train, it has been revealed.

She missed her pre-booked train to Lincoln at Retford.

The politician spoke about curbing car use during the BBC programme before being chauffeured back to London - in another car.

Thanks to Fair Deal Phil.

Green activists hate cars, until they realise how important they are.

Her first effort was to travel by train; having missed it, what do you expect her to do? Walk?

anonymous: she should do what any self-respecting senior politician should do - get roaringly drunk.
