Iain Dale and Ann Widdecombe

Iain Dale writes:
I wouldn't want to be Ann Widdecombe if the government squeaks home by one vote on 42 days next week.
Speaking for myself, I wouldn't want to be Ann Widdecombe under any circumstances.

What if you had to be either Ann Widdecombe or Gordon Brown?

Widdecombe speaks for more of the Tory Party than the "libertarians" would care to admit.

Only we have taken a consistent, principled stance for freedom, and we will reap the rewards over the next 20 years.

Gordon Brown, if you put it in such stark terms.
