Random walrus corner...

Yesterday The view from Creeting St Peter had a post with this title, I think there should be more like it on Liberal Democrat blogs - it could be a meme - so here is my contribution.

Back in 2008 I quoted a story from The Times:

Archaeologists exploring a graveyard at St Pancras stumbled across a coffin containing a mysterious set of bones. They were later identified as belonging to a walrus. An explanation for the animal's dignified burial has not yet surfaced.

The story has popped up in the press a few times since then, but an explanation of the find is still to emerge.
