Thank you, Charlie Gilmour

The son of a multi-millionaire rock star who wants the taxpayer to fund him to study history at Cambridge but does not recognise the Cenotaph.

He has managed to confirm every single prejudice I expressed in my post on tuition fees two days ago. Thank you, Charlie.

The fee change doesn't affect him, he would have left before it takes effect, so we won't be funding him.

Also I would think very few people would recognise the Cenotaph, or know what it is.

In that case we need to change our education system so that they do recognise what it is

Good point.
But, do you think you could change the wording of your post so it's not untruthful?

recognise the Cenotaph and I am sure many others do, the most shocking image for me in today's papers was not the young man pissing at Church Hills feet. but the woman hanging on the flag at the Cenotaph, total disgrace. Although it is an amazing photograph, if you ignore the shameful act she was committing.

Actually, it confirms that there are too many rich kids at university at the expense of poorer, cleverer ones. Don't see how new system's going to change this.
