You can find this sign on a building in the Victorian industrial part of Kirby Muxloe. Presumably it was once an off-licence, though the building is large enough for it to have been a pub.
It reminds me of the backstreets of York when I was a student. There seemed to be an off-licence with a "John Smith's Magnet Ales" sign on every corner.
