It's hard to credit if you visit Welshpool today, but the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway used to make its way through the town from its modern Raven Square terminus to the main line station.
This beautiful footage from 1963 shows a train on this lost line. It would be something to be cherished just for the colour views of Welshpool back streets.
