Following on from my post earlier today about Leonard Rossiter, here he is on the 1978 Morecambe and Wise Christmas show.
Stage presence is a strange thing. With Eric and Ernie, it was always Eric you watched. But here, right from the start, you can't take your eyes off Rossiter.

Anyone interested in Leonard Rossiter might like to listen to him in Semi Detached, by David Turner, which is on Radio 4 Extra this weekend. It's the original Coventry Belgrade Theatre Rep cast from the early 1960s, before Laurence Olivier took over the lead for the West End run. Rossiter's timing is excellent.
