Trainspotting at Euston in 1957

Enjoy the footage of steam haulage at the old Euston. Wonder at the authorities' toleration of unsupervised children in a busy working environment.

I'm fond of sheep myself, but I'm not sure what they have to do with it.

Perhaps it was more that the engine crews were 'A man of sorrows and acquainted with grease'?

And people watching what's going on and taking notes would not be tolerated now. They'd be arrested before you could say "terrorism".
