The restoration of the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal



The southern section of the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal was restored by the National Trust between 1961 and 1964.

We navigated it on a family canal holiday in 1968.

What happened to the "Stratford Blue", the narrow-boat named after a rare butterfly, which, well ahead of its time, was electrically powered?
